Most people love holidays because they can do anything they love to and most people will go to travel during holidays. However, it’s a costing thing to travel during holiday as the price of tourist attractions are soaring, the hotel price will increase too. What’s more, when travel in another city during holidays, people always like to buy local specialties to remember the trip or to take home as gifts. In this case, it will cost people much money. I also like to travel to another city when holidays coming, but I don’t have enough money to support my living during those days and I also want to save some money to buy a gift for the coming birthday of my best friend.
Due to the limited fund, I have to make a plan to save money during holidays. First of all, I will not go to travel as travel is expensive as accommodation fee, board expenses, travelling expenses and so on are more expensive than ordinary times. What I am going to do is go shopping on holidays, as goods are at discount on holidays, so buy goods in those days is a good choice and it doesn’t cost much. There’s another way of saving money when shopping that is shopping on the internet. Although goods are at discount, but goods of famous brands are still expensive after discount, then there’s a way to buy good at a lower price. Taking clothes as example, when I am going to buy clothes on holidays, I always try on them and decided which one to buy, but I am not going to buy immediately in the shop, I will go home and buy the clothes that I want to buy on the internet.

Second, see films at home. When holiday comes, people always go out for traveling, but I don’t have the opportunity of travelling, in order to save money at the same time killing time, I always buy some film discs and then see films at home, this is a good way of killing time without spending too much money. The third way of saving money is saving board expenses. People are always like to celebrate holidays and most people will have a big dinner together in grand hotel which is expensive. I don’t suggest this kind of celebration, I also like to celebrate holidays by eating big dinners, but I won’t go to have dinner of such expensive. Dainty snacks, cheap and delicious, can be good choices.
Holidays are big days for spending money, however, there still are ways of saving money during those days. Doing those things that I suggested, you can have a fun holiday at the same time saving money.
