Individual Interview

Phone Interview
Phone interview is a widely-used way to identify and recruit candidates for the interview. It is to narrow down the job applicant pool and to save the expenses for applicants who are far away from the interview place. You will never know when the employer will call you and ask do you have a few minutes to talk. It is necessary to be prepared for the phone interview.

Group Interview
Group interviews are divided in two categories. One is when a group of applicants for the same job vacancy are interviewed together. The other type is when an applicant is interviewed by a group of interviewers, typically including a HR representative, the manager, and other relative co-workers.

Behavioral Interview
In a traditional interview, you will be asked a series of questions and then you go back to wait for the second interview invitation. However, behavior interview is interviewing based on discovering how the job applicant reacted in certain situation to predict you future performance.

Informational Interview
Informational interview is directed by your questions and hence it is less stressful than a typical in-person interview. You can get what you want to know about what should be asked skillfully in the first interview (such as salary, vacation, etc.)

Video Interview
There are more and more companies are using internet technology to screen job applicants. Some companies will screen interviews via video, and some will conduct interviews by video. During the video interview, all the applicants are asked a series of questions and the hiring managers can replay and review the interviews, so they can screen and select the applicants efficiently.
