Dressing up for the job you want
The purpose of dressing up is not for the interview or the job you already have but for the job you want, which is the life rule. Dressing up for the job you want makes you look good and hence perform well in the interview.
Don't go overboard
Don't experiment a new look or perfume for an interview, that's very dangerous. Don't go over with your makeup or perfume. Try what works for you now.
Keep clean and tidy
Make sure that your shoes are shiny and your dresses are stain free. To make sure you look perfect on the big day of interview, try on your outfit and inspect yourself from all angles the night before the interview.
